West Indies scored 173 for all-out in exact 50 overs with top scorer by Richie Richardson struck 47 off 70-balls including 4-four.

Shivnarine Chanderpaul scored 38 off consuming 66-deliveries including six boundaries, Roger Harper 23 and Courtney Brownne 18.

India best bowler by Anil Kumble picked up 3-wickets for 35-runs in 10-overs, Manoj Prabhakar takes 3-wickets for 39-runs in 10-overs, Javagal Srinath took 2-wickets and one for Aashish Kapoor.

India chased 174-5 in 39.4 overs with top scorer by Sachin Tendulkar 70, Vinod Kambli cracked a unbeaten 33 off 48-balls including 4-fours & a six.

Mohammad Azharuddin scored 32 off 59-balls including 4-fours and Nayan Mongia 24 not out.

West Indies best bowler by Roger Harper and Curtly Ambrose both took 2-wickets.
