Damien Martyn's career-best blazing 56-ball 96 and Andrew Symonds' record-breaking fastest fifty sets up to Australia registered a their historic first T20I win against South Africa by record 95-runs in a one-sided one-off T20I.

Australia's 95-run win their largest victory by terms of runs in T20 international, previously they won by 44-runs against New Zealand in the first-ever T20I in the last year and the second biggest victory in T20Is. Damien Martyn's 96 was the second highest score in T20 internationals after Ricky Ponting's unbeaten 98. Andrew Symonds hammered a 25-ball fastest fifty ever in T20 international cricket history and broken the Damien Martyn's 33-ball 50 in the same match. Australia's 209 was their second highest score in T20 international and also the second highest total in T20Is. South Africa's 114 was their second lowest score in T20 internationals.

Australia scored mammoth total of 209-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by Damien Martyn hammered a 96 off 56-balls - who fell four-run short of first ever T20I century.

Andrew Symonds hammered a unbeaten 54 off 26-balls including 6-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 207.69, Ricky Ponting struck 27 off 18-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours and James Hopes 17.

South Africa best bowler by Shaun Pollock, Monde Zondeki and Johan Botha each took one-wickets.

South Africa scored 114 for all-out in 18.3 overs with top scorer by Mark Boucher struck 29 off 21-balls including five-fours, Shaun Pollock 24, Graeme Smith 22 and Jacques Kallis 15.

Australia best bowler by debutant - Nathan Bracken - who took 2-wickets for 9-runs in 3-overs on his debut T20I match.

Debutant Mick Lewis - who took 2-wickets on his debut T20I match, James Hopes, Andrew Symonds both takes two-wickets and debutant Stuart Clark - who took one-wicket on his debut T20I match.

Damien Martyn named Player of the match for his magnificent batting performance to scored a career-best blazing 96 off facing 56-balls including 7-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 171.43.
