Adam Gilchrist and Scott Styris leads to Deccan Chargers registered their historic first IPL game win against Chennai Super Kings by a comfortable 7-wickets in the 26th match of a Indian Premier League.
CSK scored 144-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Suresh Raina cracked a 32 off 21-balls including 5-fours.
Albie Morkel blasted a unbeaten 29 off 19-balls including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 152.63, MS Dhoni scored 23 off 31-balls included 2-fours.
Joginder Sharma hit 16 off 10-balls including one-six & a four with strike rate of 160 and Manpreet Gony hammered a unbeaten 15 off 6-balls contained 2-sixes with strike rate of 250.
DC best bowler by RP Singh captured 2-wickets for 12-runs in 3-overs, Paidikalva Vijaykumar, Pragyan Ojha, Scott Styris, Shahid Afridi and Sanjay Bangar each took one-wickets.
DC chased 148-3 in 18 overs with top scorer by Adam Gilchrist hammered a 54 off 36-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 150.
Scott Styris hit a unbeaten 36 off 41-balls including 3-fours & a six, Rohit Sharma struck 23 off 17-balls included 2-fours & a six and Shahid Afridi hammered a unbeaten 20 off 6-balls contained 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 333.33.
CSK best bowler by Manpreet Gony, Muttiah Muralitharan and Albie Morkel each took one-wickets.
