India 1st Innings scored 245 for all-out in 67.4 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul blasted a 101 off 137-balls - which was his 8th Test hundred and his second century against South Africa in Tests - including 14-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 73.72.

Virat Kohli cracked a 38 off 64-balls including 5-fours, Shreyas Iyer hit 31 off 50-balls included 3-fours & a six, Shardul Thakur struck 24 off 33-balls with 3-fours and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 17 off 37-balls contained 4-fours.

1st Innings South Africa best bowler by Kagiso Rabada claimed a 5-wicket haul for 59-runs in 20-overs including four maidens, Debutant Nandre Burger - who took 3-wickets on his debut Test match, Marco Jansen and Gerald Coetzee both took one-wickets.

South Africa 1st Innings scored 408 for all-out in 108.4 overs with top scorer by Dean Elgar blasted a 185 off 287-balls including 28-fours.

Marco Jansen hit a unbeaten 84 off 147-balls including 11-fours & a six, Debutant David Bedingham - who hit 56 off 87-balls on his debut Test match - included 7-fours & 2-sixes, Tony de Zorzi scored 28 off 62-balls included 5-fours and Gerald Coetzee cracked a 19 off 18-balls contained 2-fours & a six.

1st Innings India best bowler by Jasprit Bumrah claimed a 4-wickets for 69-runs in 26.4-overs, Mohammed Siraj both took 2-wickets.

Debutant Prasidh Krishna - who took one-wicket on his debut Test match, Ravichandran Ashwin and Shardul Thakur both took one-wickets.

India 2nd Innings bundled out for 131 in 34.1 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli hammered a 76 off 82-balls including 12-fours & a six with strike rate of 92.68, Shubman Gill hit 26 off 37-balls included 6-fours and Shreyas Iyer 6.

2nd Innings South Africa best bowler by Nandre Burger claimed a 4-wickets for 33-runs in 10-overs including three maidens, Marco Jansen picked up 3-wickets for 36-runs in 7.1-overs and Kagiso Rabada took 2-wickets.

Dean Elgar named Player of the match for his scintillating batting performance to smashed a 185-runs knocked off facing 287-balls including 28-fours.
