Kane Williamson scored 57 off 65-balls including 5-fours & a six, Martin Guptill 49 off 62-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - included five boundaries.

Luke Ronchi hammered a unbeaten 29 off 19-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 152.63 and Grant Elliott scored 29 off 34-balls included 2-fours.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Jeevan Mendis, Suranga Lakmal both took 2-wickets and one for Rangana Herath and Nuwan Kulasekara.

Sri Lanka scored 233 for all-out in 46.1 overs with top scorer by Lahiru Thirimanne struck 65 off 60-balls including eight boundaries, Angelo Mathews scored 46, Kumar Sangakkara 39 and Tillakaratne Dilshan 24.

New Zealand best bowler by Corey Anderson, Daniel Vettori, Tim Southee, Adam Milne and Trent Boult each took 2-wickets.

Corey Anderson named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 2-wickets for 18-runs in 3.1-overs after smashing a rapid 75-runs knocked off facing 46-balls including 8-fours and 2-sixea with strike rate of 163.04.
