A brilliant batting performance from top-orders guided Australia narrow 20-run victory over Pakistan, despite a Haris Sohail's superb century and Australia complete clean sweep with 5-0 in the five-match series.

* Aaron Finch became the first Australian to aggregate 400+ runs in a five-match ODI series. His 451 runs is the joint 4th most by any player in a 5-match One-day series. Overall, the 451 runs scored by Aaron Finch are the 2nd most by an Australian in any bilateral series. George Bailey scored 478 runs across six innings during the 2013 series against India.

* Australia’s 327/7 was 2nd highest total in the ODI format in the UAE. The highest ODI total of the Australia in the UAE is 332/3 which came against Sri Lanka at Sharjah in 1990.

* Only the 3rd time Pakistan lost an ODI despite a two pairs sharing century partnerships. They fell five runs short of India’s total of 349 at Karachi in 2004 and also lost to Sri Lanka in the 2014 Asia Cup final despite two century stands.

* Pakistan’s innings is only the 6th instance of an unsuccessful ODI run-chase despite a two century stands. The last of the previous 5th such instances were recorded by Sri Lanka against India at Rajkot in 2009 Rajkot while they chasing 415.

Australia scored 327-7 in 50-overs with top scorer by Usman Khawaja 98, Glenn Maxwell 70, Shaun Marsh 61, Aaron Finch 51 and Peter Handscomb 8.

Pakistan best bowler by Usman Shinwari claim four wickets and Junaid Khan took three wickets.

Pakistan scored 307-7 in 50-overs with top scorer by Haris Sohail 130, which was his second one-day international hundred and second hundred in the series.

Shan Masood scored 50, Imad Wasim 50 not out, Umar Akmal 43, Mohammad Rizwan 12 and Yasir Shah 11.

Australia best bowler by Jason Behrendorff took 3-63, Glenn Maxwell, Nathan Lyon, Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa each took one wickets.

Glenn Maxwell earned Player of the match for his magnificent flurry knock of 70-runs off facing 33-balls including ten 4s and three 6s with strike rate of 212.12.
