Rahmat Shah cracked a 43 off 60-balls included six-fours, Rashid Khan 27 and Hashmatullah Shahidi 18.
Australia best bowler by Pat Cummins picked up 3-wickets for 40-runs in 8.2-overs, Adam Zampa takes three-wickets, Marcus Stoinis took 2-wickets and one for Mitchell Starc.
Australia chased 209-3 in 34.5 overs with top scorer by David Warner 89 not out, Aaron Finch blasted a 66 off 49-balls including 6-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 134.69, Steve Smith 18 and Usman Khwaja 15.
Afghanistan best bowler by Gulbadin Naib, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan each took one-wickets.
