Aaron Finch's record-breaking 153, Steve Smith's superb half-century and Glenn Maxwell's assault before Mitchell Starc's four-for, Kane Richardson and Pat Cummins' combined 5-wickets helped to Australia crushing 87-run victory over Sri Lanka, despite a Dimuth Karunaratne's 97 in the 20th match of a World Cup.

* Australia's 334 was their third highest score against Sri Lanka in One-day Internationals, it is their ninth highest total in World Cups and their second best score against Sri Lanka in World Cups.

* Aaron Finch's 153 was the third-highest score for Australian in World Cups and Australia's highest scorer against Sri Lanka in World Cups, broken the previous record by Adam Gilchrist's 149 against Sri Lanka in the 2007 World Cup final at Bridgetown.

* 153 : Aaron Finch became the highest scorer by an Australian captain in World Cups breaks the previous record by Ricky Ponting's 140* against India in the 2003 World Cup final at Johannesburg.

Australia scored massive total of 334-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Aaron Finch 153 - which was his second World Cup hundred and his 14th ODI hundred.

Steven Smith struck 73 off 59-balls including 7-fours & a six, Glenn Maxwell blasted a unbeaten 46 off 25-balls included 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 180 and David Warner 26.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Dhananjaya de Silva and Isuru Udana both took two-wickets and one for Lasith Malinga.

Sri Lanka scored 247 for all-out in 45.5 overs with top scorer by Dimuth Karunaratne 97 off 108-balls - who fell three-run short of his century - including 9-fours.

Kusal Perera blasted a 52 off 36-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 144.44, Kusal Mendis struck 30 off 37-balls included 2-sixes, Dhananjaya de Silva and Lahiru Thirimanne both scored 16-runs.

Australia best bowler by Mitchell Starc claimed a 4-wickets for 55-runs in 10-overs, Kane Richardson picked up 3-wickets, Pat Cummins takes two-wickets and one for Jason Behrendorff.

Aaron Finch named Player of the match for record-breaking 153-runs knocked off facing 132-balls including 15-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 115.90.
