All-round Shakib Al Hasan's half-century with five-for and Mushfiqur Rahim's fifty helped to Bangladesh comprehensive 62-run victory over Afghanistan in the 31st match of a World Cup.

* Shakib Al Hasan's 5 for 29 was the joint fifth best bowling figure for Bangladesh in One-day Internationals and Bangladesh's best figure in World Cups.

* Shakib Al Hasan became the first Bangladeshi bowler to take a five-wicket haul in World Cups.

* Shakib Al Hasan became the first Indian player to take five wickets and score fifty or more runs in a match in One-day international cricket history and overall the second player in World Cups after Yuvraj Singh.

Bangladesh scored 262-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Mushfiqur Rahim struck 83 off 87-balls including 4-fours & a six, Shakib Al Hasan 51.

Tamim Iqbal hit 36 off 53-balls including 4-fours , Mosaddek Hossain blasted 35 off 24-balls included four-fours with strike rate of 145.83 and Mahmudullah 27.

Afghanistan best bowler by Mujeeb Ur Rahman picked up 3-wickets, Gulbadin Naib takes 2-wickets, Mohammad Nabi and Dawlat Zadran each took one-wickets.

Afghanistan scored 200 for all-out in 47 overs with top scorer by Samiullah Shinwari cracked a unbeaten 49 off 51-balls including 3-fours & a six.

Gulbadin Naib struck 47 off 75-balls included 3-fours, Rahmat Shah 24, Najibullah Zadran 23 and Asghar Afghan 20.

Bangladesh best bowler by Shakib Al Hasan claims 5-29, Mustafizur Rahman takes 2-wickets, Mosaddek Hossain and Mohammad Saifuddin each took one-wickets.

Shakib Al Hasan earned the player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 29-runs in 10-overs after a scoring valuable 51-runs knocked off facing 69-balls including a boundary.
