* England's 150-run win was their third largest victory by terms of runs in World Cups.

* Eoin Morgan hammered a 57-ball fourth fastest century in World Cup and the fifth fastest hundred by an England batsman in ODIs.

* Eoin Morgan's 148 was his highest score for England in One-day international, It is the highest-score by an England batsman against Afghanistan in ODIs and the third highest score by an England batsman in World Cups.

* Eoin Morgan became the first England batsman to score a hundred against Afghanistan in One-day international cricket history.

England scored record total of 397-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Eoin Morgan 148 - which was his 13th ODI hundred, his first century against Afghanistan in ODIs and also his first ODI hundred in World Cups.

Jonny Bairstow 90 off 99-balls - who fell ten-run short of his century - including 8-fours & 3-sixes, Joe Root struck 88 off 82-balls included 5-fours & a six.

Moeen Ali blasted a unbeaten 31 off 9-balls including 4-sixes & a four with strike rate of 344.44 and James Vince 26.

Afghanistan best bowler by Gulbadin Naib and Dawlat Zadran both picked up 3-wickets.

Afghanistan scored 247-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Hashmatullah Shahidi struck 76 off consuming 100-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes.

Rahmat Shah cracked a 46 off 74-balls included 3-fours & a six, Asghar Afghan scored 44 off 48-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes.

Gulbadin Naib hit 37 off 28-balls including 4-fours and a six with strike rate of 132.14

England best bowler by Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid both picked up 3-wickets and Mark Wood took 2-wickets.

Eoin Morgan named Player of the match for his brutal power-hitting batting performance to smashed a career-best 148-runs knocked off facing 71-balls including 17 sixes and 4 fours with strike rate of 208.45.
