Rohit Sharma's unbeaten century after Yuzvendra Chahal's four-for, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar's combined 4-wickets helped to India convincing six-wicket victory over South Africa in a low-scoring eighth match of a ICC Cricket World Cup.
South Africa scored 227-9 in 50 with top scorer by Chris Morris struck 42 off 34-balls including 2-sixes & a four, Faf Du Plessis cracked a 38 off consuming 54-balls included four-fours, Andile Phehlukwayo 34, David Miller 31 and Kagiso Rabada 31 not out.
India best bowler by Yuzvendra Chahal claimed a 4-wickets for 51-runs in 10-overs, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah both took 2-wickets and one for Kuldeep Yadav.
India chased 230-4 in 47.3 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma hit a unbeaten 122 off 144-balls - which was his 23rd ODI hundred, his was his third century against South Africa in ODIs and his second ODI hundred in World Cups.
MS Dhoni scored 34 off 46-balls including two boundaries, KL Rahul 26, Virat Kohli 18 and Hardik Pandya 15 not out.
South Africa best bowler by Kagiso Rabada took 2-wickets and one for Chris Morris and Andile Phehlukwayo.
Rohit Sharma named Player of the match for his match-winning magnificent unbeaten 122-runs knocked off facing 144-balls including 13-fours and 2-sixes.
