Lockie Ferguson's three-for before Kane Williamson's century and Colin de Grandhommne's half-century led to New Zealand tense four-wicket victory over South Africa in a tight-game of the 25th match of a World Cup.

South Africa scored 241-6 in the allotted 49-overs with top scorer by Rassie van der Dussen struck 67 off 64-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours, Hashim Amla cracked a 55 off consumed 83-balls included four boundaries.

Aiden Markram hit 38 off 55-deliveries including 4-fours and David Miller scored 36 off 37-balls included 2-fours & a six and Faf du Plessis struck 23 off 35-balls with four-fours.

New Zealand best bowler by Lockie Ferguson picked up 3-wickets, Colin de Grandhomme, Mitchell Santner and Trent Boult each took one-wickets.

New Zealand chased 245-6 in 48.3 overs with top scorer by Kane Williamson 106 not out - which was his 13th ODI hundred, his second century against South Africa in ODIs, his first ODI hundred in World Cups and it is his fifth ODI-century in the successful run chase.

Colin de Grandhomme struck 60 off 47-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 127.65, Martin Guptill scored 35 off consuming 59-deliveries including 5-fours and James Neesham 23.

South Africa best bowler by Chris Morris picked up 3-wickets, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi and Andile Phehlukwayo each took one-wickets.

Kane Williamson named player of the match for his match-winning magnificent unbeaten 106-runs knocked off facing 138-deliveries including 9-fours and a six.
