Ambati Rayudu's brilliant 90, Hardik Pandya's all-round display, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammed Shami's combined 5-wickets helped to India crushing 35-run victory over New Zealand and clinch the five-match series with 4-1 in the fifth ODI.

  • India's 252 was their tenth highest score against New Zealand in New Zealand soil in One-day internationals.

  • 98 : Ambati Rayudu and Vijay Shankar set up the second highest fifth-wicket partnership for India against New Zealand in One-day internationals.

India scored 252 for all-out in 49.5 overs with top scorer by Ambati Rayudu 90 - who fell ten-run short of his century.

Hardik Pandya hammered a 45 off 22-balls including 5-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 204.55, Vijay Shankar struck 45 off 64-balls included 4-fours and Kedar Jadhav scored 34 off 45-balls with 3-fours.

New Zealand best bowler by Matt Henry claimed a 4-wickets for 35-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Trent Boult picked up 3-wickets and one for James Neesham.

New Zealand scored 217 for all-out in 44.1 overs with top scorer by James Neesham hammered a 44 off 32-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 137.50.

Kane Williamson scored 39 off consuming 73-deliveries including three boundaries, Tom Latham hit 37 off 49-balls included 3-fours, Colin Munro 24, Mitchell Santner 22 and Matt Henry 17 not out.

India best bowler by Yuzvendra Chahal picked up 3-wickets, Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya both took 2-wickets and one for Kedar Jadhav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Ambati Rayudu named Player of the match for his brilliant 90-runs knocked off 113-balls including 8-fours and 4-sixes.
