Bowlers attack after 95 from Shai Hope and Ashley Nurse's all-round display helped to West Indies comprehensive 43-run victory over India, despite a Virat Kohli's masterclass century and level the series with 1-1 in the third ODI.

  • West Indies' 43-run win was their ninth largest victory by terms of runs against India in Indian soil in One-day internationals.
  • Virat Kohli became the first Indian batsman to score three consecutive hundreds in One-day international cricket history and overall the tenth player in ODIs.

West Indies scored 283-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Shai Hope 95 off 113-balls - who fell five-run short of his century - including 6-fours & 3-sixes, Ashley Nurse 40.

Shimron Hetmyer hammered a 37 off 21-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 176.19, Jason Holder scored 32 off 36-balls included 2-fours & a six, Kieran Powell 21, Chandrapaul Hemraj 15 and Kemar Roach 15 not out.

India best bowler by Jasprit Bumrah claimed a 4-wickets haul for 35-runs in 10-overs, Kuldeep Yadav takes 2-wickets, Yuzvendra Chahal, Khaleel Ahmed and Bhuvneshwar Kumar each took one-wickets.

India scored 240 for all-out in 47.4 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli 107 off 119-balls - which was his 38th ODI hundred, his seventh century in ODIs and his 23rd ODI century in run-chasing.

Shikhar Dhawan scored 35 off 45-balls including 5-fours, Rishabh Pant cracked a 24 off 18-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 133.33, Ambati Rayudu 22 and Kuldeep Yadav 15 not out.

West Indies best bowler by Marlon Samuels picked up 3-wickets for 12-runs in 3.4 overs, Ashley Nurse and Jason Holder both took 2-wickets and one for Kemar Roach.

Ashley Nurse named Player of the match for his all-round performance of took 2-wickets for 43-runs in 10-overs after scoring a quick-fire 40 off facing 22-balls including 4-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 181.81.
