Pakistan chased 258-7 in 49.3 overs with top scorer by Imam-ul-Haq 80, Babar Azam 66, Shoaib Malik 51 not out, Haris Sohail 13 and Mohammad Nawaz 10.
Afghanistan best bowler by Rashid Khan picked up three wickets for 46-runs, Mujeeb Ur Rahman took two wickets and one for Gulbadin Naib.
Shoaib Malik earned player of the match for his magnificent match-winning unbeaten 51-runs off facing 43-balls including three fours and a six.
