Akila Dananjaya and Dushmantha Chameera's combined seven-wickets after half-centuries from top-order's guided Sri Lanka heaviest 219-run victory via DLS method over England and reduce the margin of defeat in the series to 3-1 in a rain-hit one-sided game of the fifth ODI.

England clinch the five-match series with 3-1.

* Sri Lanka's 219-run win was their fourth largest victory by terms of runs in One-day international and it is their biggest victory against England in ODIs.

* England's 219-run defeat was their worst by margin of runs in ODIs.

* Sri Lanka's 366 was their sixth highest score in One-day international and it is their highest total against England in ODIs, surpassing the their previous best of 324 at Leeds in 2006.

* Sri Lanka's top four all scored half-centuries - the first time since 1998 each of Sri Lanka's top four had passed 50 in the same innings in One-day internationals.

* 137 : Niroshan Dickwella and Sadeera Samarawickrama set up the fourth highest first-wicket partnership for Sri Lanka against England in One-day internationals.

* 102 : Dinesh Chandimal and Kusal Mendis set up the fifth highest first-wicket partnership for Sri Lanka against England in One-day internationals.

Sri Lanka scored record total of 366-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Niroshan Dickwella 95 off 97-balls - who fell five-run short of his century, Dinesh Chandimal struck 80 off 73-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 109.58.

Kusal Mendis hammered a 56 off 33-balls including 6-sixes & a four with strike rate of 169.69, Sadeera Samarawickrama struck 54 off 48-balls included 8-fours with strike-rate of 112.50, Dhananjaya de Silva 19 not out, Akila Dananjaya 18 not out and Dasun Shanaka 18.

England best bowler by Moeen Ali, Tom Curran both took two-wickets and one for Liam Plunkett and Adil Rashid.

England scored 132-9 in 26.1 overs - due to rain revised target of 352 - with top scorer by Ben Stokes struck 67 off 60-balls including 12-fours, Moeen Ali scored a run-a-ball 37-runs included 5-fours & a six.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Akila Dananjay claimed a 4-wicket haul for 19-runs in 6.1-overs, Dushmantha Chameera picked up 3-wickets for 20-runs, Dhananjaya de Silva and Kasun Rajitha both took one-wickets.

Niroshan Dickwella named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 95-runs knocked off facing 97-balls including twelve boundaries.

Eoin Morgan named Player of the series for his for contributing 195-runs in the five-match ODI series.
