Jonny Bairstow's record-breaking 141* and Jason Roy's blazing 70-ball 96 leads to England emphatic nine-wicket victory over West Indies and clinch the five-match series with 4-0 in the fifth ODI.

  • England's 9-wicket win was their joint second largest victory by terms of wickets remaining in One-day international, The nine-wicket win is England's tenth time in One-day international and third time England had defeated West Indies by nine or more wickets in ODIs.
  • Jonny Bairstow's unbeaten 141* was the tenth highest score for England in One-day international and the highest-score by an England batsman against West Indies in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 130 held by Marcus Trescothick at Gros Islet in 2004.
  • 156 : Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow set up the joint third highest first-wicket partnership for England against West Indies in One-day internationals, jointly between Michael Atherton and Graham Gooch at Manchester in 1991.

West Indies scored 288-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Shai Hope struck 72-runs off 95-balls including four-fours and a six.

Chris Gayle blasted a 40 off 29-balls including 5-sixes & a four with strike rate of 137.93, Sunil Ambris hammered a unbeaten 38 off 27-balls with strike-rate of 140.74.

Shai Hope struck 33 off 38-balls including 3-fours, Marlon Samuels scored 32 off consuming 60-balls included a boundary.

Ashley Nurse blasted a unbeaten 31 off 12-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 258.33 and Jason Mohammed 25.

England best bowler by Liam Plunkett took 2-wickets, Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid, Tom Curran and Jake Ball each took one-wickets.

England chased 294-1 in 38 overs with top scorer by Jonny Bairstow 146 not out - which was his 2nd ODI hundred and second-century in the series.

Jason Roy 96 off 70-balls - who fell 4-runs short of his ODI hundred including 11-fours and a six with strike rate of 137.14. Joe Root scored a unbeaten 46 off 44-balls included 2-fours and a six.

West Indies best bowler by Miguel Cummins took one wickets for 70-runs in 8-overs.

Jonny Bairstow named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a career-best match-winning unbeaten 141-runs knocked off facing 114-balls including 17 boundaries with strike rate of 123.68.

Moeen Ali earned player of the series for his all-round performance to took 2-wickets including his fastest ODI century and rapid 48-runs in the five-match ODI series.
