David Warner's historic hundred in his 100th ODI and Aaron Finch's brilliant 94 before Kane Richardson and Nathan Coulter-Nile's combined 5-wickets helped to Australia narrow 21-run victory over India and reduce the margin of defeat in the series to 3-1 in a high-scoring epic game of the fourth ODI.

  • Australia's 21-run win was their sixth smallest victory by terms of runs against India in Indian soil in One-day internationals.
  • Australia's 334 was their ninth highest score against India in One-day internationals.
  • India's 313 was their ninth highest score against Australia in One-day internationals.
  • David Warner became the first Australian batsman to score a hundred in their 100th ODI and overall the eighth player in One-day international cricket history.
  • 231 : Aaron Finch and David Warner set up the record first-wicket partnership for Australia against India in One-day international, previously held by the 212-run stand between Geoff Marsh and David Boon at Jaipur in 1986, It is the Australia's third highest opening stand in ODIs and Australia's eighth highest any-wicket partnership in ODIs.

Australia scored massive total of 334-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by David Warner 124 - which was his 14th ODI hundred. Aaron Finch 94 off 96-balls - who fell six-run short of his century - including 10-fours and 3-sixes.

Peter Handscomb blasted a 43 off 30-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 143.33, Travis Head 29 and Marcus Stoinis 15 not out.

India best bowler by Umesh Yadav claimed a 4-wickets for 71-runs in 10-overs and Kedar Jadhav took one-wicket.

India scored 313-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Kedar Jadhav struck 67 off 69-balls including 7-fours and a six.

Rohit Sharma scored 65 off 55-balls including 5-sixes and a four with strike rate of 118.18. Ajinkya Rahane cracked a 53 off 66-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Hardik Pandya struck 41 off 40-balls including 3-fours & a six, Manish Pandey blasted a 33 off 25-balls included three-fours & a six and Virat Kohli scored a run-a-ball 21-runs.

Australia best bowler by Kane Richardson claims 3-wicket haul for 58-runs from 10-overs, Nathan Coulter-Nile took 2-wickets and one for Pat Cummins - Adam Zampa.

David Warner named Player of the match for his remarkable batting performance to scored a 124-runs knocked off facing 119-balls including 12-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 104.20.
