Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim stars as Bangladesh pulled off a their famous first T20I win against India by 7-wicket and take a 1-0 lead on the historic 1000th T20 international match.

Bangladesh chased 149 was their fifth highest successful run-chase in T20 internationals. India's 148 was their fifth lowest score against India in T20 internationals. 60 : Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim set up the record third-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against India in T20 international, previously held by the 35-run stand between Sabbir Rahman and Imrul Kayes at Dhaka in the 2016 Asia Cup.

India scored 148-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shikhar Dhawan struck 42 off 41-balls included 3-fours and a six, Rishabh Pant 27, Shreyas Iyer 22, KL Rahul 15 and Krunal Pandya 15 not out.

Bangladesh best bowler by Animul Islam, Shafiul Islam both took two-wickets and one for Afif Hossain.

Bangladesh chased 154-3 in 19.3 overs with top scorer by Mushfiqur Rahim 60 not out, Soumya Sarkar struck 39 off 35-balls including 2-sixes & a four, Mohammad Naim 26 and Mahmudullah 15 not out.

India best bowler by Yuzvendra Chahal, Deepak Chahar and Khaleel Ahmed each took one-wickets.

Mushfiqur Rahim named player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten quick-fire 60-runs knocked off facing 43-balls including 8-fours and a six with strike rate of 139.53.
