Ireland best bowler by Barry MacCarthy, Tim Murtagh each picked up two-wickets, Kevin O'Brien and Peter Chase each took one wickets.
Ireland scored 238 for all-out in 45.3 overs with top scorer by Niall O'Brien 109 off 131-balls- who scored his maiden ODI hundred - including 9-fours and 5-sixes, Andy Balbirnie struck 36 off 50-balls included five boundaries and Gary Wilson scored 30-runs.
New Zealand best bowler by Mitchell Santner 5-50, debutant Scott Kuggeleijn - who picked up 3-wickets for 41-runs on his Debut ODI match, Ish Sodhi and debutant Seth Rance each took one wickets.
Mitchell Santner named Player of the match for his career-best bowling figure of 5-wicket haul for 50-runs in 10-overs.
