Martin Guptill's century and Ross Taylor half-century before Matt Henry and Mitchell Santner's combined 7-wickets helped to New Zealand domineering 15-run victory over Pakistan, despite a tailenders attack and clinch the their historic first five-match series 5-0 whitewash against Pakistan in the fifth ODI.

  • New Zealand's 15-run win was their sixth smallest victory by terms of runs against Pakistan in One-day internationals.
  • This is the second time New Zealand have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral five-match series in One-day international and their first against Pakistan in ODIs.
  • This is the third time Pakistan have suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral five-match series in One-day internationals.
  • 58 : Ross Taylor became the most 50+ scores for New Zealand in One-day international cricket history, Surpassing the previous record of 57 fifty plus or more scores jointly by Nathan Astle and Stephen Fleming.
  • 112 : Martin Guptill and Ross Taylor set up the fifth highest third-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Pakistan in One-day internationals.
  • 105 : Haris Sohail and Shadab Khan set up the record sixth-wicket partnership for Pakistan against New Zealand in One-day international, previously held by the 98-run stand between Mohammad Hafeez and Sarfraz Ahmed at Hamilton in the previous ODI and Pakistan's joint seventh highest sixth-wicket stand in ODIs, jointly 105-run stand held by between Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Nawaz (3) against Ireland at Dublin in 2016.
  • New Zealand's 271 was their ninth highest score against Pakistan at their home venue in One-day internationals.
  • Pakistan's 256 was their tenth highest score against New Zealand in New Zealand soil in One-day internationals.
  • Martin Guptill became the 11th New Zealand batsman to score a hundred against Pakistan in One-day internationals.

New Zealand scored 271-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Martin Guptill 100 - which was his 13th ODI hundred and his first century against Pakistan in ODIs.

Ross Taylor scored 59 off 73-balls including 3-fours, Colin Munro hammered a 34 off 24-balls included 7-fours with strike rate of 141.67, Colin de Grandhomme 29 not out and Kane Williamson 22.

Pakistan best bowler by Rumman Raees picked up 3-wickets, Faheem Ashraf took 2-wickets and one for Aamer Yamin.

Pakistan scored 256 for all-out in 49 overs with top scorer by Haris Sohail struck 63 off 87-balls including five boundaries.

Shadab Khan scored 54 off 77-balls including five boundaries, Aamer Yamin hammered a unbeaten 32 off 27-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 118.52.

Mohammad Nawaz blasted a 23 off 12-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 191.67 and Faheem Ashraf scored 23 off 15-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike-rate of 153.33.

New Zealand best bowler by Matt Henry claimed a 4-wickets for 53-runs in 10-overs, Mitchell Santner picked up 3-wickets for 40-runs in 10-overs, Lockie Ferguson took 2-wickets and one for Colin de Grandhomme.

Martin Guptill named player of the match for his masterclass 100-runs knocked off facing 126-balls included 10-fours and a six. 

Martin Guptill earned the player of the series for contributing 310-runs including one-century & a fifty with average 77.50 in the five-match ODI series.
