Bhuvneshwar Kumar scored career-best unbeaten 53-runs off 80-balls included 8-fours and a six, Shikhar Dhawan 49 - who fell one-run short of his half-century and MS Dhoni scored unbeaten 45 off 68 deliveries including a one boundary.

MS Dhoni and Bhuvneshwar Kumar set the record-breaking 100-run stand for eighth wicket partnership for India in ODI's. Previous record was Harbhajan Singh and Praveen (84) against Australia at Vadodara in 2009.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Akila Dananjay 6-54 and Milinda Siriwardana took one wicket from his 10-overs.

Akila Dananjay named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed 6-wicket haul for 54-runs from 10-overs.
