Evin Lewis' blazing half-century, Kesrick Williams and Hayden Walsh's combined 5-wickets and Kieron Pollard's all-round display helped to West Indies comprehensive 30-run victory over Afghanistan and take a 1-0 lead in the first T20I.

Afghanistan best bowler by Gulbadin Naib took 2-wickets, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Rashid Khan and Naveen-ul-Haq each took one-wickets.
Afghanistan scored 134-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Najibullah Zadran struck 27-runs off 23-balls including 3-fours and a six, Asghar Afghan hit 25 off 21-balls included 2-fours & a six.
Fareed Ahmad blasted a unbeaten 24 off 15-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 160 and Hazratullah Zazai 23.
West Indies best bowler by Kesrick Williams picked up 3-wickets for 17-runs in 4-overs, Kieron Pollard, Hayden Walsh both took 2-wickets and one for Sheldon Cottrell - Jason Holder.
Kieron Pollard named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 2-wickets for 17-runs in 3-overs after scoring a quick-fire 32-runs knocked off facing 21-balls including 2-fours and a six with strike rate of 145.45.
