  • West Indies' 372 was their highest score ever in One-day international cricket history, It is the fifth highest score in World Cups and the highest-score by any team in Australian soil in ODIs.
  • 215 : Chris Gayle became first West Indian batsman score to 200 in ODI's and This was the fifth double-century in ODIs, and it came exactly five years after Sachin Tendulkar first reached the landmark.
  • 372 : Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels set up the world record partnership for any wicket in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record held by the 331-run stand between Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid against New Zealand at Hyderabad (Deccan) in 1999.

  • Chris Gayle became the second West Indies' batsman to reach 9,000 runs in One-day international and overall the 16th player in ODIs.
  • 22 : Chris Gayle equalled a joint fourth most centuries in One-day internationals, jointly with Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli.
  • Marlon Samuels' 133 was his highest score for West Indies in One-day international, It is the third highest score by an West Indies' batsman against Zimbabwe in ODIs and the fourth highest score by an West Indies' batsman in World Cups.
  • 8 : Marlon Samuels hit the seventh most centuries for West Indies in One-day internationals.

West Indies scored their record total of 372-2 in 50 overs with top scorer by Chris Gayle 215 - which was his 1st double-hundred in ODIs.

Marlon Samuels cracked a unbeaten 133 off 156-balls - which was his 8th ODI hundred, his first century against Zimbabwe in ODIs and also his first ODI hundred in World Cups - including 11-fours & 3-sixes.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Tinashe Panyangara and Hamilton Masakadza both took one-wickets.

Zimbabwe scored 289 for all-out in 44.3 overs due to rain revised target of 363 in 48-overs - with top scorer by Sean Williams hammered a 76 off 61-balls including 9-fours with strike rate of 124.59.

Craig Ervine cracked a 52 off 41-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 126.83, Sikandar Raza hit 26 off 20-balls included 5-fours, Elton Chigumbura 21, Stuart Matsikenyeri 19 and Tendai Chatara 16.

West Indies best bowler by Jerome Taylor picked up 3-wickets for 38-runs in 10-overs, Jason Holder takes 3-wickets, Chris Gayle took 2-wickets and one for Nikita Miller - Marlon Samuels.

Chris Gayle named Player of the match for his sensational power-hitting batting performance to smashed a record-breaking 215-runs knocked off facing 147-balls including 16-sixes and 10-fours with strike rate of 146.25.
