David Warner's record-breaking 179 and Travis Head's maiden century before Mitchell Starc's four-for helped to Australia crushing 57-run victory over Pakistan, despite a brilliant century from Babar Azam and clinch the five-match series with 4-1 in a high-scoring epic game of the fifth ODI.

  • Australia's 57-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs against Pakistan at Adelaide Oval in One-day internationals.
  • 284 : David Warner and Travis Head set up the record first-wicket partnership for Australia in One-day International, It is their highest any-wicket stand in ODIs, previously held by the 260-run stand between David Warner and Steve Smith against Afghanistan at Perth in the 2015 World Cup, And the fifth highest any-wicket stand in ODIs.
  • 130 : Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam set up the second highest second-wicket partnership for Pakistan against Australia in One-day Internationals.
  • Australia's 369 was their seventh highest score in One-day International and it is their highest total against Pakistan in ODIs.
  • Pakistan's 312 was their second highest score against Australia in One-day International and also It is their second highest total in Australian soil in ODIs.
  • 681 : This is the second highest aggregate match in Australia in One-day international and the highest between Australia and Pakistan in ODIs.
  • David Warner's 179 was the third highest score for Australia in One-day International and the highest-score by an Australian batsman against Pakistan in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 146 held by Matthew Hayden at Nairobi (Gym) in 2002.
  • Travis Head's 128 was his best score for Australia in One-day International and the fifth highest score by an Australian batsman against Pakistan in ODIs.
  • This is the second instance of Australia's two batsmen were scores of centuries or more runs in their innings against Pakistan in One-day internationals. The only other such instance came against Pakistan at Lahore in 1998.
  • Babar Azam became the seventh Pakistan batsman to score a hundred against Australia in One-day internationals.

Australia scored record total of 369-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by David Warner hammered a 179 off 123-balls - which was his 13th ODI hundred and his second century against Pakistan in ODIs.

Travis Head 128 off 137-balls - which was his maiden ODI hundred - including 9-fours & 3-sixes and James Faulkner 18.

Pakistan best bowler by Junaid Khan, Hasan Ali both took 2-wickets and one for Wahab Riaz - Mohammad Amir.

Pakistan scored 312 for all-out in 49.1 overs with top scorer by Babar Azam 100 off 109-balls - which was his 4th ODI hundred and his first century against Australia in ODIs - including 7-fours & a six.

Sharjeel Khan struck 79 off 69-balls included 9-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 114.49, Umar Akmal score 46 off 40-balls included 7-fours, Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz each scored 17-runs.

Australia best bowler by Mitchell Starc claimed a 4-wicket for 42-runs in 9.1-overs, Pat Cummins took 2-wickets, James Faulkner, Adam Zampa and Josh Hazlewood took one-wickets.

David Warner named Player of the match for his record-breaking batting performance to smashed a career-best 179-runs knock off faced 128-balls including 19-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 139.84. 

David Warner earned player of the series for contributing 367-runs with average of 73.40 including two-centuries in the five-match ODI series.
