Sarfraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik stars as Pakistan's record four-wicket victory over England and avoid the series whitewash in a high-scoring thriller of the fifth ODI.

Pakistan chased 303 was their sixth highest successful run-chase in One-day international and it is their highest chase against England in ODIs, previous highest chase was 272 at Southampton in 2006. 163 : Shoaib Malik and Sarfraz Ahmed set up the record fourth-wicket partnership for Pakistan against England in One-day international and England's joint sixth highest fourth-wicket stand in ODIs, jointly 163-run stand held by between Ijaz Ahmed and Inzamam-ul-Haq against India at Mohali in 1999.

England scored 302-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Jason Roy struck 87 off 89-balls including 8-fours and 2-sixes.

Ben Stokes scored 75 off 76-balls including 5-fours and 3-sixes, Jonny Bairstow hit 33 off 36-balls and Alex Hales 23.

Pakistan best bowler by Hasan Ali claimed 4-wicket haul for 60-runs in 10-overs, Mohammad Amir picked up three-wickets and one for Imad Wasim - Umar Gul.

Pakistan chased 304-6 in 48.2 overs with top scorer by Sarfraz Ahmed 90 - who fell ten-run short of his century.

Shoaib Malik struck 77 off 80-balls including 5-fours and 2-sixes, Mohammad Rizwan scored a unbeaten run-a-ball 34-runs included 4-fours.

Azhar Ali scored 33 off 37-balls including 3-fours and Babar Azam hit 31 off 29-balls included 6-fours with strike rate of 106.89 and Imad Wasim 16 not out.

England best bowler by Mark Wood takes 2-wickets, debutant Liam Dawson - who took 2-wickets on his debut ODI match and Chris Woakes took one-wicket.

Sarfraz Ahmed named Player of the match for his match-winning captain knock of 90-runs off facing 73-balls including 10-fours and a six with strike rate of 123.28.

Joe Root earned player of the series for his spectacular batting display to contributing 274-runs including three-fifties with average of 54.80 in the five-match ODI series.
