Chris Woakes holds nerve as England thrilling 5-run victory over India, despite a fighting knock from Kedar Jadhav's 75-ball 90 and avoid the series whitewash in a high-scoring thriller of the third ODI.

* With 15 runs to defend, Chris Woakes recovered from Kedar Jadhav slammed for six and four in the first two deliveries of the game's final over to chalk up four consecutive dot-balls, including the vital scalp of Kedar Jadhav, to seal a consolation win in the 3-match ODI series.

England scored massive total of 321-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Jason Roy struck 65 off 56-balls including 10-fours & a six.

Ben Stokes blasted a unbeaten 57 off 39-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 146.15. Jonny Bairstow cracked a 56 off 64-balls included 5-fours & a six.

Eoin Morgan hit 43 off 44-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours, Sam Billings scored 35 off 58-balls included 5-fours and Chris Woakes hammered a 34 off 19-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 178.95.

India best bowler by Hardik Pandya picked up 3-wickets, Ravindra Jadeja took 2-wickets and one for Jasprit Bumrah.

India scored 316-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Kedar Jadhav hammered a 90 off 75-balls including 12-fours & a six with strike rate of 120.

Hardik Pandya blasted a 56 off 43-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 130.23, Virat Kohli cracked a 55 off 63-balls included 8-fours..

Yuvraj Singh scored 45 off 57-balls including 5-fours & a six and MS Dhoni 25.

England best bowler by Ben Stokes 3-63, Jake Ball, Chris Woakes each took two wickets from their 10-overs and one for Liam Plunkett.

Ben Stokes named Player of the match for his all-round performance to scored important 57-runs and claimed 3-wickets for 63-runs from his 10 overs.

Kedar Jadhav earned player of the series for his spectacular batting display of scoring 232-runs including one-century and a fifty in the three-match ODI series.
