Virat Kohli's 138 and Suresh Raina's fifty before Bowlers attack helped to India comprehensive 35-run victory over South Africa, despite a AB de Villiers' record-breaking hundred and level the series with 2-2 in a historic game of the fourth ODI.

  • Virat Kohli's 138 was the fourth highest score by an Indian batsman against South Africa in One-day internationals.
  • 23 : Virat Kohli hit the second most centuries for India in One-day international and the fifth in the list of most hundreds in ODIs.
  • 104 : Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane set up the third highest third-wicket partnership for India against South Africa in ODIs.

India scored 299-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli 138 - which was his 23rd ODI hundred and his 1st century against South Africa in ODIs.

Suresh Raina struck 53 off 52-balls including 3-fours and a six, Ajinkya Rahane scored 45 off 53-balls included 4-fours, Rohit Sharma hit 21 off 19-balls with four-fours and MS Dhoni 15.

South Africa best bowler by Kagiso Rabada, Dale Steyn both picked up 3-wickets and one for Chris Morris.

South Africa scored 264-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by AB de Villiers struck 112 off 107-balls - which was his 22nd ODI hundred and his fifth century against India in ODIs - including 10-fours & 2-sixes.

Quinton de Kock cracked a 43 off 35-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 122.85, Farhaan Behardien 22, Aaron Phangiso 20 and Faf du Plessis 17.

India best bowler by Bhubaneswar Kumar picked up 3-wickets, Harbhajan Singh takes 2-wickets, Axar Patel, Mohit Sharma and Amit Mishra each took one-wickets.

Virat Kohli named Player of the match for his spectacular batting display of scoring a 138-runs knocked off facing 140-balls including 6-fours and 5-sixes.
