A superb unbeaten maiden century from Matthew Wade and Glenn Maxwell's fifty before James Faulkner's four-for and Pat Cummins' three-for helped to Australia thumping 92-run victory over Pakistan and take a 1-0 lead in a one-sided game of the first ODI.

Australia 78-5 to scored 268-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Matthew Wade 100 not out - who struck his 1st ODI hundred off penultimate ball of the Australia's Innings.

Glenn Maxwell struck 60 off 56-balls including 7-fours with strike rate of 107.14, Travis Head scored a run-a-ball 39-runs included 5-fours and Debutant Chris Lynn - who scored 16-runs on his debut ODI match.

Pakiatan best bowler by Hasan Ali picked up 3-wickets, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir both took 2-wickets and one for Mohammad Nawaz.

Pakistan scored 176 for all-out in 42.4 overs with top scorer by Babar Azam struck 33 off 46-balls including three boundaries, Imad Wasim 29, Azhar Ali 24 and Mohammad Rizwan 21.

Australia best bowler by James Faulkner claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 32-runs in 7-overs, Pat Cummins picked up three-wickets for 33-runs in 8.4 overs, Mitchell Starc took 2-wickets and one for Mitchell Marsh.

Matthew Wade named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored his maiden ODI century off facing exact 100-balls including 7-fours and 2-sixes.
