Mitchell Starc four-wicket haul helped to Australia comfortable seven-wicket victory over Scotland in the 40th match of World Cup 2015.
* Rain kept Australia nervous during a two-hour delay, more nervous than Scotland who's innings lasted only half an hour longer.
The camera panned to the Australian dressing room. The sky was gloomy, the rain was getting heavier and the covers were on for two hours in Hobart. Steven Smith and Shane Watson looked nervous. More than they had been for the two and a half hours and 25.4 overs that Scotland batted.
Scotland scored 130 for all-out in 25.4 overs with top scorer by Matt Machan struck 40 off 35-balls including six boundaries, Josh Davey scored 26, Michael Leask 23 and Calum MacLeod 22.
Australia best bowler by Mitchell Starc 4-14, Pat Cummins picked up 3-wickets for 42-runs from 7 overs, Mitchell Johnson, Shane Watson and Glenn Maxwell each took one-wickets.
Australia chased 133-3 in 15.2 overs with top scorer by Michael Clarke struck run-a-ball 47-runs including 7-fours and 2-sixes, Shane Watson scored 24 off 23-balls included four boundaries, David Warner who scored rapid 20 not out off 6-balls with 2-fours ans 2-sixes, Aaron Finch scored 20 and James Faulkner 16 not out.
Scotland best bowler by Rob Taylor, Josh Davey and Iain Wardlaw each took one-wickets.
