Eighties from Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson guided New Zealand tense three-wicket victory via DLS method over Pakistan and clinch three-match series with 2-0 in a rain-affected thrilling game of the third ODI.

Match Stats : 
  • New Zealand chased 263 was their second highest successful run-chase against Pakistan in One-day internationals.
  • Pakistan lost their last five wickets for just 34-runs - which was their fourth worst five-wicket collapse against New Zealand in One-day international. They went from 256 for 5 to 290 for all out.
  • 134 : Mohammad Hafeez and Babar Azam set up the fourth highest third-wicket partnership for Pakistan against New Zealand in One-day internationals.
  • 159 : Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson set up the record second-wicket partnership for New Zealand in One-day internationals, previously held by the 157-run stand between Martin Guptill and Brendon McCullum against Zimbabwe at Harare in 2011 and New Zealand's second highest any-wicket stand against Pakistan in ODIs.
  • Pakistan's 290 was their eighth highest score against New Zealand in One-day internationals.

Pakistan scored 290 for all-out in 47.3 overs with top scorer by Babar Azam struck 83 off 77-balls including 10-fours and a six.

Mohammad Hafeez hammered a 76 off 60-balls including 5-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 126.67, Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 41 off 50-balls included 5-fours.

Shoaib Malik struck 32 off 27-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 118.52 and Mohammad Rizwan 16.

New Zealand best bowler by Adam Milne picked up three-wickets for 49-runs from 9.3 overs, Matt Henry, Trent Boult each took 2-wickets, Corey Anderson and Mitchell Santner each took one-wickets.

New Zealand chased 265-7 in 42.4 overs due to rain DLS revised target of 263 in 43-overs, with top scorer by Kane Williamson struck 84 off 86-balls including 9-fours and 3-sixes, Martin Guptill 82.

Corey Anderson hammered a 35 off 29-balls including 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 120.69 and Luke Ronchi 20.

Pakistan best bowler by Azhar Ali, Mohammad Amir both took 2-wickets, Shoaib Malik, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Irfan each took one-wickets.

Martin Guptill named player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 82-runs knocked off facing 81-balls including 8-fours and 3-sixes.
