Rahat Ali, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Irfan combined 9-wickets helped to Pakistan cruising to via DLS method win against South Africa by a comfortable 29-runs despite a fighting knock from AB de Villiers 77 in the 29th match of a ICC Cricket World Cup.
Pakistan scored 222 for all-out in 46.4 overs - due to rain overs reduced to 47 overs for side - with top scorer by Misbah-ul-Haq struck 56 off 86-balls including four boundaries, Sarfraz Ahmed 49 who fell one-run short of his half-century, Younis Khan scored 37 off 44-balls with four-fours and Shahid Afridi scored 22.
South Africa best bowler by Dale Steyn picked up 3-wickets for 30-runs from 10 overs, Morne Morkel, Kyle Abbott each took two wickets and one for Imran Tahir - AB de Villiers.
South Africa scored 202 for all-out in 33.3 overs with top scorer by AB De Villiers 77 off 58-balls including 7-fours and 5-sixes, Hashim Amla struck 38 off 27-balls included nine boundaries and Faf du Plessis scored 27.
Pakistan best bowler by Rahat Ali, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Irfan each took 2-wickets and one for Sohail Khan.
Sarfraz Ahmed named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a run-a-ball 49-runs including 5-fours and 3-sixes.
