Indian star batsman Rohit Sharma smashed a magnificent 159-runs knocked off facing 138-balls including 17-fours and 5-sixes helped to India set up the imposing total of 387 in the second ODI.
Rohit Sharma - who blasted his 28th One-day international century and his 100 came from 107-balls - This was the his seventh ODI hundred in 2019. Only once has any batsman made more in a calendar year. Sachin Tendulkar had scored 9-hundreds in 1998 which is the world record.
* 159 : Rohit Sharma's score, which is now the highest score among India batsmen this year. He has made the highest individual score for India in each of the last seven calendar years, beginning from 2013.
* 1490 : Rohit Sharma became the Leading run-scorer in 2019 and overall the eighth most runs in a calendar year.
