Mohammed Shami and Ravichandran Ashwin combined five-wickets after Shikhar Dhawan magnificent century helped to India comprehensive eight-wicket victory over Ireland in the 34th match of the World Cup 2015.

* India took their winning streak in World Cup matches to nine, and also maintained their record of bowling oppositions out in this World Cup.

* 259 : This was Ireland's highest score against India in this World Cup.

Ireland scored 259 for all-out in 49 overs with top scorer by Niall O'Brien scored a run-a-ball 75 including 7-fours and 3-sixes, William Porterfield struck 67 off 93-balls included five-fours and a six, Paul Stirling scored 42 off 41-balls with 4-fours & 2-sixes and Andy Balbirnie cracked a run-a-ball 24.

India best bowler by Mohammed Shami picked up 3-wickets for 41-runs from 9 overs, Ravichandran Ashwin took 2-wickets, Umesh Yadav, Mohit Sharma, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja each takes one-wickets.

India chased 260-2 in 36.5 overs with top scorer by Shikhar Dhawan 100 - which was his 8th ODI hundred and his second century in the tournament.

Rohit Sharma struck 64 off 66-balls including 3-fours and 3-sixes, Virat Kohli scored unbeaten 44 off 42-balls included four-fours & a six and Ajinkya Rahane 33 not out off 28 deliveries with six boundaries.

Ireland best bowler by Stuart Thompson picked up two-wickets for 45-runs from 6 overs.

Shikhar Dhawan named Player of the match for his match-winning 100-runs knocked off 85-balls including 11-fours and 5-sixes.
