Tillakaratne Dilshan's fastest fifty and Ajantha Mendis all-round performance helped to Sri Lanka thrilling one-wicket victory via DLS method over West Indies and take a 1-0 lead in a rain-truncated 26-over-a-side game of the first ODI.

West Indies scored 159-8 in allotted 26-overs due to rain match reduced 50 to 26-overs per side with top scorer by Andre Russell blasted a 41 off 24-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 170.83.
Darren Bravo scored 38 off 58-balls including 3-fours & a six and Jason Holder hammered a 36 off 13-balls included 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 276.92.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Suranga Lakmal picked up 3-wickets for 15-runs in 5-overs, Ajantha Mendis took 2-wickets, debutant Shehan Jayasuriya who took one-wicket on his ODI-debut match and Angelo Mathews takes one-wicket.
Sri Lanka chased 164-9 in 24.5 overs - due to rain DLS target of 163 in 26-overs - with top scorer by Tillakaratne Dilshan 59, Ajantha Mendis 20 not out and Lahiru Thirimanne 17.
