JP Duminy scored a unbeaten 52 off 43-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 120.93 and Farhaan Behardien blasted a 50 off 22-balls included 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 227.27 and Faf du Plessis 21.
Ireland best bowler by Craig Young picked up 3-wickets 3-wickets and Kevin O'Brien took 2-wickets.
Ireland scored 148 for all-out in 30.5 overs with top scorer by Kevin O'Brien struck 41 off 46-balls including seven boundaries.
Paul Stirling scored 40 off 49-balls included four-fours, Sean Terry and George Dockrell each scored 16-runs.
South Africa best bowler by JP Duminy claimed 4-wickets for 16-runs in 4.5 overs, Aaron Phangiso, Wayne Parnell both took two-wickets, Kagiso Rabada takes 1-wicket and debutant Dwaine Pretorius - who took one-wicket on his debut ODI match.
