Match Stats : Zimbabwe chased 286 was their fourth highest successful run-chase in One-day international and It is their highest chase in World Cups, previous highest chase was 230 at Taunton in 1999. Zimbabwe's 286 was their sixth highest ODI score in World Cups. UAE's 285 was their highest score in One-day internationals, previous highest was 282 against Afghanistan at ICCA Dubai in the last year. 53 : Amjad Javed and Mohammad Naveed set up the record eighth-wicket partnership for Afghanistan in One-day internationals, previously held by the 32-run stand between Johanne Samarasekera and Sultan Zarawani against New Zealand at Faisalabad in the 1996 World Cup.

Khurram Khan cracked a 45 off 55-balls including 6-fours, Krishna Chandan scored 34 off consuming 63-deliveries included three boundaries.

Amjad Javed hammered a unbeaten 25 off 19-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 131.58, Mohammad Naveed 23 not out and Andri Berenger 22.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Tendai Chatara picked up 3-wickets, Solomon Mire and Sean Williams both took 2-wickets.

Zimbabwe chased 286-6 in 48 overs with top scorer by Sean Williams 76 not out, Brendan Taylor struck 47 off 44-balls including 5-fours & a six.

Sikandar Raza scored 46 off 44-balls including 6-fours & a six, Craig Ervine hammered a 42 off 32 balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 131.25 and Regis Chakabva scored 35 off 62-deliveries with including four boundaries.

UAE best bowler by Mohammad Tauqir takes 2-wickets, Amjad Javed, Nasir Aziz, Krishna Chandan and Mohammad Naveed each took one-wickets.

Sean Williams named Player of the match for his all-round performance to scored a match-winning unbeaten 76-runs knocked off facing 65-balls including 7-fours and a six after took 2-wickets for 43-runs in 8-overs.
