Hashim Amla's classy century and AB de Villiers' half-century before Bowlers shine as South Africa crushing 75-run victory over Sri Lanka and take a 1-0 lead in the first ODI.

South Africa scored massive total of 304-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Hashim Amla 109 - which was his 13th ODI hundred and his second century against Sri Lanka.

AB de Villiers hit 75 off 70-balls including five-fours and a six, David Miller hammered a unbeaten 36 off 21-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 171.42.

Quinton de Kock scored 27 off 35-balls contained 3-fours & a six, Ryan McLaren hit a unbeaten 22 off 18-balls included 2-fours and JP Duminy 16.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Ajantha Mendis picked up 3-wickets, Angelo Mathews and Sachithra Senanayake each took one wickets.

Sri Lanka scored 229 for all-out in 40.3 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara struck 88 off 84-balls including nine boundaries.

Tillakaratne Dilshan hit 40 off 46-balls included five-fours, Kusal Perera scored 34 off 33-balls including 6-fours and Lahiru Thirimanne 15.

South Africa best bowler by Imran Tahir picked up 3-wickets, Ryan McLaren, Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel each took two-wickets and one for Vernon Philander.

Hashim Amla named player of the match for his classy batting performance to scored a 109-runs off facing 130-balls including 8-fours and a six.
