Steve Smith's unbeaten century and Brad Haddin's assault leads to Australia thrilling three-wicket victory over England, despite a Ian Bell's career-best 141 and enter into the final in a high-scoring thriller of the fourth match of a Tri-series.

  • Australia chased 304 was their joint fourth highest successful run-chase in One-day International and it is their second highest chase against England in ODIs.
  • England's 303 was their fourth highest score against Australia in One-day Internationals.
  • Ian Bell's 141 was the eighth highest score for England in One-day International and the second highest-score by an England batsman against Australia in ODIs after Robin Smith's unbeaten 167.

England scored 303-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Ian Bell 141 off 125-balls - which was his 4th ODI hundred & his first century against Australia in ODIs - including 15-fours & a six.

Joe Root struck 69 off 70-balls including 6-fours, Moeen Ali scored 46 off 48-balls included 3-sixes & 3-fours and Jos Buttler 25.

Australia best bowler by Gurinder Sandhu took 2-wickets, Moises Henricks, James Faulkner, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins each took one-wickets.

Australia chased 304-7 in 49.5 overs with top scorer by Steve Smith 102 not out - which was his 3rd ODI hundred and his first century against England in ODIs.

Shaun Marsh scored 45 off 48-balls including 6-fours, Brad Haddin hammered a 42 off 29-balls included 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 144.83.

Glenn Maxwell cracked a 37 off 38-balls including 4-fours, James Faulkner hit 35 off 43-balls included four-fours and Aaron Finch scored a run-a-ball 32-runs with 3-fours.

England best bowler by Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes and Steven Finn each took 2-wickets.

Steve Smith named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant unbeaten 102-runs knocked off facing 95-balls including 6-fours and a six with strike rate of 107.37.
