Imran Tahir's four-for and JP Duminy's three-for before Quinton de Kock's superb unbeaten 78* helped to South Africa comfortable nine-wicket victory over Sri Lanka and qualify for the semi-final in a one-sided first quarter-final clash of a ICC Cricket World Cup.
Sri Lanka scored 133 for all-out in 37.2 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara struck 45 off 96-balls including three boundaries, Lahiru Thirimanne scored 41 off 48-balls included five boundaries and Angelo Mathews 19.
South Africa best bowler by Imran Tahir 4-26, JP Duminy picked up 3-wickets, Dale Steyn, Kyle Abbott and Morne Morkel each took one-wickets.
South Africa chased 134-1 in 18 overs with top scorer by Quinton de Kock scored unbeaten 78 off 57-balls including twelve boundaries, Faf du Plessis 21 not out and Hashim Amla 16.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Lasith Malinga took one wicket for 43-runs from 6-overs.
