Ravindra Jadeja's spin attacking four-wicket haul before Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan's stunning half-centuries helped them complete a comfortable eight-wicket victory over Afghanistan in the ninth match of Asia Cup.
Afghanistan scored 159 for all-out in 45.2 overs with top scorer by Samiullah Shinwari who scored delightful 50 off 73-balls including six-fours and a six, Noor Ali Zadran scored 31 off 35-balls included six boundaries and Mohammad Shahzad scored 22-runs.
India best bowler by Ravindra Jadeja 4-30, Ravichandran Ashwin picked up 3-wickets, Mohammed Shami took two-wickets and one for Amit Mishra.
India chased 160-2 in 32.2 overs with top scorer by Shikhar Dhawan struck 60 off 78-balls including four-fours and a six, Ajinkya Rahane scored 56 off 66-balls included five-fours, Dinesh Karthik scored 21 not out and Rohit Sharma 18 not out.
Afghanistan best bowler by Mirwais Ashraf and Mohammad Nabi each took one-wickets.
