Kuldeep Yadav's match-turning over after stunning half-centuries from Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli guided India crushing 36-run victory over Australia, despite a Steve Smith's masterclass 98 and level the series with 1-1 in a high-scoring game of the second ODI.

  • India's 340 was their eighth highest score against Australia in One-day internationals.
  • It is the fourth time Shikhar Dhawan dismissals on nervous nineties in One-day internationals and the joint fifth most nineties dismissals by an Indian batsman in ODIs, jointly 4 nineties dismissals by Kris Srikkanth, Mohammad Azharuddin, Ajay Jadeja, Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma.
  • It is the second time Steve Smith dismissals on nervous nineties in One-day internationals.

India scored mammoth total of 340-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Shikhar Dhawan 96 off 90-balls - who fell four-run short of his century including 13-fours and a six with strike rate of 106.67.

KL Rahul hammered a 80 off 52-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 153.85, Virat Kohli struck 78 off 76-balls included 6-fours.

Rohit Sharma scored 42 off 44-balls including six-fours and Ravindra Jadeja 20 not out.

Australia best bowler by Adam Zampa picked up 3-wickets and Kane Richardson took 2-wickets.

Australia scored 304-9 in 49.1 overs with top scorer by Steve Smith 98 off 102-balls - who fell two-run short of his century - including 9-fours & a six.

Marnus Labuschagne scored 46 off 47-balls on his first ODI innings - including 4-fours, Aaron Finch scored 33 off 48-balls included 3-fours.

Ashton Agar scored a run-a-ball 25-runs including 3-fours and Kane Richardson hammered a unbeaten 24 off 11-balls included 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 218.18

India best bowler by Mohammed Shami picked up 3-wickets, Ravindra Jadeja, Navdeep Saini, Kuldeep Yadav each took two-wickets and one for Jasprit Bumrah.

KL Rahul named Player of the match for his quick-fire 80-runs off facing 52-balls included 6-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 153.84.
