Morne Morkel's five-for before AB de Villiers' 48 helped to South Africa hard-fought three-wicket victory over Australia despite a Josh Hazlewood's five-for and levelled the series with 1-1 in the low-scoring thriller of the second ODI.

* Morne Morkel's 5 for 21 was the joint eighth best bowling figures for South Africa in One-day international, jointly with Lance Klusener, Nicky Boje and Makhaya Ntini and South Africa's second best figures against Australia in ODIs, jointly 5 for 21 held by Nicky Boje at Cape Town in 2002

* Josh Hazlewood's 5 for 31 was the third best bowling figures for Australia against South Africa in One-day internationals

Australia scored 154 for all-out in 41.4 overs with top scorer by Mitchell Marsh struck 67 off 88-balls including 3-fours and 2-sixes, George Bailey 25 and Matthew Wade 19.

South Africa best bowler by Morne Morkel 5-21, Dale Steyn picked up 3-wickets for 35-runs, Vernon Philander and Farhaan Behardien each took one-wickets.

South Africa chased 157-7 in 27.4 overs with top scorer by AB de Villiers 48 off 41-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 8-fours with strike rate of 117.07.

Rilee Rossouw struck 30 off 25 balls including 6-fours, David Miller 22 not out and Faf du Plessis 19.

Australia best bowler by Josh Hazlewood claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 31-run from 9.4-overs including two maidens, Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Johnson each took one wickets.

Morne Morkel named Player of the match for his brilliant pace bowling attack to claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 21-runs in 8-overs.
