Half-centuries from Mitchell Marsh and Phillip Hughes before bowlers attack helped to Australia comprehensive 62-run victory over South Africa, despite a fighting century from Faf du Plessis and seal place in final with bonus-point win in the fifth match of a triangular series.

Australia scored 282-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Mitchell Marsh 86 not out, Phillip Hughes struck 85 off 92-balls including 7-fours and a six.

Steve Smith scored 36 off consuming 62-balls including 2-fours and George Bailey hit 32 off 35-balls included 3-fours & a six and Aaron Finch 16.

South Africa best bowler by Aaron Phangiso took two-wickets, Imran Tahir, Morne Morkel, Ryan McLaren and Dale Steyn each took one-wickets.

South Africa scored 220 for all-out in 44 overs with top scorer by Faf du Plessis 126 off 109-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred and also his second consecutive century against Australia in the series - including 8-fours and 6-sixes with strike rate of 115.59, Ryan McLaren scored 24 and Hashim Amla 17.

Australia best bowler by Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Marsh, Mitchell Johnson, Kane Richardson each took two-wickets and one for Nathan Lyon.

Mitchell Marsh named player of the match for his all-round performance to hammered a 51-ball unbeaten 86-runs knocked including 7-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 168.62 and his brilliant bowling to took two important wickets.
