Chris Jordan's record-breaking five-for sets up to England's biggest ten-wicket victory over Sri Lanka and take a 2-1 lead in a one-sided game of the third ODI.

* In this series levels of batting collapses are increasing with each match. Sri Lanka were bowled out for 144 at The Oval in the first ODI, England plummeted for 99 in Chester-le-Street and here the tourists subsided for 67 to lost by 10 wickets.

* The ten-wicket win is England's fifth and England's joint largest victory by terms of wickets remaining against Sri Lanka in One-day international, This is the second time England had defeated Sri Lanka by ten-wickets and It is the third such defeat for Sri Lanka in ODIs.


* England's 227-ball spare was their second largest victory by terms of balls remaining and their biggest victory against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

* Sri Lanka's 67 was their third lowest score in One-day international and It is their worst total against England in ODIs.

* Chris Jordan's 5 for 29 was his best bowling performance for England in One-day international and the best bowling figures by an England bowler against Sri Lanka in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 5 for 32 held by Mark Ealham at Perth in 1999.

Sri Lanka scored lowest total of 67 for all-out in 24 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara struck 13 off 23-balls included two boundaries, Mahela Jayawardene scored 12 and Angelo Mathews 11.

England best bowler by Chris Jordan 5 for 29, James Tredwell picked up 2 wickets for 2-runs from 3-overs and James Anderson took two-wickets.

England chased 73-0 in 12.1 overs with top scorer by Ian Bell scored 41 not out off facing 33-balls including four-fours & six and Alastair Cook scored 30 off 40-balls included two boundaries.

Chris Jordan named player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed a 5-wicket haul for 29-runs in 8-overs.
