A superb century from Steve Smith, Matthew Wade's fifty and James Faulkner's assault helped to Australia's remarkable three-wicket victory over South Africa and took an unbeatable 3-1 lead to seal the series in the fourth ODI.

South Africa scored 267-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by AB de Villiers 91 off 88-balls - who fell nine-run short his century including six boundaries.

David Miller scored 45 off 61-balls including 3-fours, Faf du Plessis 28, Farhaan Behardien 22, Hashim Amla 18 and Quinton de Kock 17.

Australia best bowler by James Faulkner, Pat Cummins both took 2-wickets, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell each took one-wickets.

Australia chased 268-7 in 49 overs with top scorer by Steve Smith 104 - which was his 2nd ODI hundred and his first century against South Africa in ODIs.

Matthew Wade scored 52 off 59-balls including 4-fours and a six, James Faulkner blasted a unbeaten 34 off 19-balls included 6-fours, Aaron Finch 22 and Shane Watson 19.

South Africa best bowler by Dale Steyn, Wayne Parnell both took 2-wickets, Kyle Abbott, Robin Peterson and Ryan McLaren each took one-wickets.
