Lasith Malinga's four-for and Suranga Lakmal's three-for before Forties from Kusal Perera and Tillaknratne Dilshan and Dinesh Chandimal's unbeaten fifty helped to Sri Lanka thrilling two-wicket victory over Pakistan and reduce the margin of defeat in the series to 3-2 in a tight-game of the fifth ODI.

Pakistan scored 232 for all-out in 49.3 overs with top scorer by Misbah-ul-Haq struck 51 off 74-balls including 2-fours & a six.

Mohammad Hafeez scored 41 off 56-balls including two boundaries, Anwar Ali cracked a 41 off 38-balls included 2-fours & a six, Umar Akmal 20, Sharjeel Khan 18 and Ahmed Shehzad 17.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Lasith Malinga claimed four-wicket for 57-runs in 10-overs, Suranga Lakmal picked up 3-wickets, Angelo Mathews and Ajantha Mendis both took one-wickets.

Sri Lanka chased 235-8 in 49.4 overs with top scorer by Dinesh Chandimal 64 not out, Kusal Perera cracked a 47 off 41-balls including 4-sixes and 3-fours.

Tillakaratne Dilshan scored 45 off 69-balls included four-fours, Kumar Sangakkara 22 and Ajantha Mendis 19 not out.

Pakistan best bowler by Junaid Khan picked up 3-wickets for 31-runs in 7.1-overs, Saeed Ajmal takes 2-wickets, Anwar Ali, Mohammad Hafeez and Umar Gul each took one-wickets.

Dinesh Chandimal named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten 64-runs off facing 70-balls including one-six and a four.

Mohammad Hafeez named player of the series for contributing 448-runs including three centuries with average of 149.33 in the five-match ODI series.
