Half centuries from Jos Buttler, Michael Carberry and Eoin Morgan guided England tense three-wicket victory over Australia, despite a Clint McKay's hat-trick and level the series 1-1 in a low-scoring thriller of the fourth ODI.

Australia scored 227 for all-out in 48.2 overs with top scorer by George Bailey struck 87 off 91-balls including 5-fours and 3-sixes, Matthew Wade scored 36, Adam Voges 30, Shaun Marsh 25 and Michael Clarke 22.

England best bowler by James Tredwell picked up 3-wickets, Steven Finn, Boyd Rankin both took 2-2 wickets and one for Ben Stokes - Ravi Bopara.

England were 8-3 to chased 228-7 in 49.3 overs with top scorer by Jos Buttler 65 not out, Michael Carberry struck 63 off 95-balls including seven boundaries.

Eoin Morgan cracked a 53 off consuming 92-balls including 7-fours and Ben Stokes 25.

Australia best bowler by Clint McKay claimed four-wicket haul for 39-runs in 10-overs, Debutant Nathan Coulter-Nile - who took one-wicket on his debut ODI match, James Faulkner and Shane Watson both took one-wickets.

Jos Buttler named player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 65-runs knocked off facing 48-balls knock including 5-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 135.41.
