Mahela Jayawardene and Dinesh Chandimal stars as Sri Lanka's record three-wicket victory over Australia, despite a Peter Forrest's maiden ODI century in a tight-game of the ninth match of a CB Tri-series.

* Sri Lanka chased 281 was their highest successful run-chase against Australia in One-day international and the seventh highest chase by any team in Australia in ODIs.

* 154 : Peter Forrest and Michael Clarke set up the second highest third-wicket partnership for Australia against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals.

Australia scored 280-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Peter Forrest 104 off 138-balls - which was his first ODI hundred - including 10-fours & 2-sixes.

Michael Clarke struck 72 off 79-balls including 5-fours and 2-sixes, David Hussey cracked a unbeaten 40 off 28-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 142.85 and Michael Hussey 21 and Brett Lee 20 not out.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Angelo Mathews took 2-wickets, Farveez Maharoof, Rangana Herath, Lasith Malinga and Nuwan Kulasekara each took one-wickets.

Sri Lanka chased 283-7 in 49.2 overs with top scorer by Mahela Jayawardene 85, Dinesh Chandimal cracked a 80 off 100-balls including 7-fours, Lahiru Thirimanne, Angelo Mathews both scored 24-runs.

Kumar Sangakkara cracked a run-a-ball 22-runs including 2-fours and Thisara Perera hammered a unbeaten 21 off 11-balls including two-fours and a six with strike rate of 190.91

Australia best bowler by Daniel Christian picked up 3-wickets, Ben Hilfenhaus took 2-wickets and one for Xavier Doherty and Ryan Harris.

Mahela Jayawardene named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 85-runs knocked off facing 81-balls including 6-fours and a six with strike rate of 104.94.
