* New Zealand's 358 was their second highest total in World Cups behind the 363 they made against Canada in 2007. They have six scores above 300 in World Cups.

* New Zealand scored 74 runs in the batting Powerplay, the most by any team in this World Cup. Pakistan are second, with 70 runs against Kenya.

Canada best bowler by Harvir Baidwan picked up 3-wickets, Balaji Roa took 2-wickets and one for John Davison.

Canada scored 261-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Ashish Bagai struck 84 off 87-balls including 10-fours.

Jimmy Hansra cracked a unbeaten 70 off 105-balls including 4-fours and a six, Hiral Patel scored 31 and Khurram Chohan 22.

New Zealand best bowler by Jacob Oram picked up 3-wickets, Kyle Mills took 2-wickets for 2-runs in 2.4 overs, Jesse Ryder, Tim Southee and Nathan McCullum each took one-wickets.

Brendon McCullum named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 101-runs knocked off facing 109-balls including 12-fours and 2-sixes.
